Content Licence Grant

This policy governs our current pre-launch submission process. The full policy set will be finalized before creator accounts open.

Everything below applies once you are onboarded as a Creator and your content is published on the Platform — it does not describe or apply to your current founding-creator intake submission. That submission is governed instead by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is held privately for manual review, and is never published or streamed.

1. Ownership retained

The Creator retains all ownership of their content and master recordings. This is a licence, not an assignment. We acquire no ownership.

2. Grant of licence

The Creator grants Revolution Unlocked a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to, solely to operate and promote the Platform:

  • host, store, reproduce, encode/transcode (create delivery formats), and cache the content;
  • publicly perform, stream, and display the content to Platform users;
  • create and display derivative technical assets (waveforms, previews, thumbnails, quality reports);
  • use the Creator's name, likeness, artwork, and marks to attribute and promote the content on and off the Platform in connection with the Platform.

3. Duration & revocation

The licence lasts while the content remains on the Platform. On removal by the Creator, the licence terminates subject to a reasonable period for cache/CDN propagation, documented backup/deletion handling and copies required by law or a valid dispute/security hold.

4. Non-exclusivity

Nothing here is exclusive. The Creator keeps all other distribution, streaming, and licensing relationships.

5. Samples & third-party material

The Creator warrants the content is original or fully cleared, and contains no third-party recording, composition, sample, or footage without necessary rights/clearances. Where content includes third-party compositions (e.g., covers), the Creator is responsible for the applicable mechanical/performance obligations, or must flag them so the Platform can address collective-licensing coverage.

6. AI / SIREN use

The Platform's AI (SIREN) may process content and metadata to generate contextual, explanatory responses and platform features. SIREN does not train foundation models on Creator content, and does not generate derivative musical/artistic works from it, except with the Creator's separate, explicit opt-in. See the AI Training & Usage Disclosure.

7. Moral rights / attribution

We will attribute content to the Creator as provided. The Creator's master is never altered — delivery formats are generated from a separate lossless intermediate, not the original.

8. Warranties & indemnity

The Creator warrants it holds all rights granted here and indemnifies Revolution Unlocked against claims arising from breach. Full indemnity scope will be finalized before the platform opens for user invites and creator access.

Reminder: the sections above describe the licence granted once you are onboarded as a Creator and your content is published — they do not apply to your current founding-creator intake submission.
